Digipack Advert Research

In this digipack advert the genre is Indie Rock. Because of this they've tackled common codes and conventions of this genre. Like the black and white tones to it and the serious emotional looks on tree faces. Its also got a really simple layout with not a lot going on. This would be so at a glance you can gather main information without having to search.

This Digipack is for an alternate rock band. This is shown through the fact that they use muted colours throughout and scratches across the images. This creates a raw look to there album which would attract the general audience of alternative rock due to it matching there codes and conventions.

After looking at these designs I found that the design below worked best for my Digipack and I will use this throughout my design.

Task 23 Ancillary Planning

I chose to separate my Digipak into three separate sections. An interview section, main band section and Song section. This gives the Digipak an organised layout even though the general met l style would be quite messy.
